EAST COAST We drive past the Oasis towns of Dhaid and Masafi. A stop at the Friday market (Open Daily) is very welcoming and we then proceed to the Bithna Fort. Next is the Emirate of Fujeirah and lunch at a beach hotel. After lunch we visit a fishing village at Dibbah and proceed to see how the Shihu tribe still live in rock houses, in a village known as Khassab. We then cross the territory of Oman through the Musandam Peninsula, going through rough Four Wheel Drive tracks and tight mountain roads up to a scenic viewpoint some 1200 meters above sea level, from where you will have fascinating views of the Mountain range and Canyons.
